Beau IS A CANE

We finally get that big TE commit we haven't gotten since Olsen!

Thinking about this guy in our offense with our entire OL returning, all the WR's returning, Duke, Morris as a Sr and the possibility of Alex Collins and Coley and/or Strong is... F8cking christ is it really 9 months to go before the start of next season?!

F*ck playing defense, I hope we onside kick it 10 times a game (after all 10 TD's we will score).

serious question:

why didn't the kid have more serious offers than us and ASU?

he seems to be the goods, i just don't understand why he didn't have more interest from other big schools
UGA, Gators, LSU and OU offered him.

RE: Happy Sandland Day!

i'll take a 4 start TE out of highschool over a 4 star JuCo kid any day of the week, especially with coyle coming back. just dont know how much of a shot we have at him since we just offered him recently.[/TD]

Congrats to the staff and everyone that was involved with Sandland's commitment to the "U".....

But in the end this, like most verbal commitments, came down to fit. Sandland could talk about Hurricane head coach Al Golden's history with tight ends for hours. Golden is a former tight end himself. And his track record along with that of his staff are what put Sandland at ease.

"They want to run a lot of two and three-tight end sets," Sandland said. "I know where [Miami tight ends coach Brennan Carroll] and [offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch] have been in their coaching careers. Coach Carroll was obviously at USC. And Coach Fisch, when he was in Baltimore and Houston and Seattle and Denver, always used the tight end right in the offense. I think they plan on using me everywhere. I'm going to be very versatile."

I always thought Beau Sandland was overrated. And Nebraska cooled on him. And he obviously doesn't care about winning by choosing Miami.

I already posted this but he has offers from UF, LSU, UGA etc but he had to drop SEC schools because of an online class that won't transfer
