BCS standings thread 10/27

I am thankful we are in the top 10 its been a long time coming...glad the BCS crap is ending though...lets press on...

I will not be cheering for an Oregon or Alabama loss until we beat FSU. I am sure you all can figure out why.
 
Mizzou will lose to the GameCocks next week, we will jump Stanford and November 2nd will be throwback Saturday!
#2FSU v #5UM. Finally we have a REAL FSU MIAMI game, it's been a looooong time.
I already can't wait, my body is ready.

You've got to really respect Kirk Herbstreit. He is so unbiased. Does not try to pump up OSU at all. He tells it like it is. Mad props.
 
I don't care what we're ranked , we control our own destiny. Nov 2nd takes care of everything.

Obviously it doesn't work that way. See Virginia Tech. They have the 'best loss' possible. Have won everything else.

If VaTech was Vandy in the SEC, they'd be ranked 6th in Stanford's spot.

We beat WF and FSU and we should be 3rd, 2nd if Ducks lose by then. Al needs to get some IT geek working on the computer ranking program and start playing to it like FSU does. Basically, score all you can and have no mercy. How great is it to be *****ing about only being 7th in the BCS poll and heading to Tally in two weeks to take the heart out of the Noles one more time. I've been waiting for this moment all on my life, oh Lord. The only thing that could make going undefeated and playing Bama in the NC even better is leaving a frigging undefeated Urban lead OSU out in the dark weeping and nashing their teeth. Sweet.

We need Virginia Tech and fsu to only have one loss.(fsu 2 if you're counting acccg). Both to us.

Beating fsu might get us to 4th.. beating top 10 vt might get us to 3rd. Then rematch with fsu again , if we win against them (they'll be top 10 at that point) nobody will keep us out of the National championship
 
**** off Reece Davis. Talking about how surprising it is to see us that high after how awful we looked on Thursday.

our only signature win was over Florida who has been losing left and right. and after a bad game vs UNC i can see how Sandford is ahead of us.

I think what could be worse is our schedule being packed with easy teams and us having no chance and climbing the latter.

Right now with FSU at #2 and VT only having 1 loss to the #1 team for the first time in a long time we have a chance a NC (yes its a long shot) but still.


I really hope we show up to the FSU game and figure out a way to win, but FSU (as much as it hurts to say it) is a **** good team. surprisingly much better than last year.

I love my Hurricanes and Morris needs to have a good game to bring up his draft stock!

Always been a kirk fan. Only time he cheered against us was when we lost in the desert but he picked us to win. Between 99-06 he always gave us props but since that blowout to Louisville in 06 he realized we wasn't the same. Only one at espn who gives love
 
I think OSU will finish undefeated. Im sitting there looking at it and hoping the pac 10 and SEC weaker divisions win the conference title, we take care of our business and face OSU in the title game. I'd give an arm for that. lol. Just to smash *** and OSU at the same **** time....it could happen boys
 
Dont forget. Beating fsu 2 times will help too. But just worry bout the games now
