Shane Buechele was benched for horrible play, he went to SMU and then all of the sudden he wasn’t horrible.

After seeing TVD look like a deer in headlights, I’m all for looking into the portal. What’s so frustrating is that I see other freshman at our programs have impacts immediately, and our freshman take **** near 2 yrs to contribute w/ consistency here. That chit is frustrating af, ESPECIALLY w/ our history.

On my soul, I feel like I’m in a twilight zone blood. It’s weird af. Like I rewatched, painfully, the highlights of our game Saturday & I still don’t get it. The fact that we gotta rely upon guys coached up from other programs to make a difference here is all you need to know about the state of this program. We’ve always had a transfer come through either via the JUCO level or from another school, but it was always like 1 or 2 guys, and they spent majority of their time here. Now, we are a rent-a-player program b/c the guys coming through organically, ain’t movin the needle.

Hopefully we insert a whole new batch of wide receivers. Pope and Wiggins dont fight for contested passes. Them 2 wont ever shake the soft label. Hopefully we bring out the young guys and they are who we hope them to be.

Come on, dude. TVD had one series and threw some nice balls. Mallory has to make that catch to extend the drive. Way too early to evaluate him.
