Reid is generating some buzz as a potential FCS-to-FBS transfer (VIP). The 5-foot-8, 170-pounder is the FCS leading rusher with 847 yards and 12 touchdowns on 113 carries through six games this season, highlighted by a five-touchdown first half against The Citadel. He has forced 39 missed tackles on run plays and is averaging 3.7 yards after contact per attempt, and he leads the country in explosive run plays (29). He is also a weapon in the passing game with 13 catches on 17 targets for 143 yards. A former three-star recruit out of Hollywood (Fla.) Miramar, Reid was the No. 139 athlete and No. 196 Floridian for the 2022 cycle.

When i was in high school in the mid 90s this was a pretty big deal now it seems like an afterthought. Also i used to enjoy the Florida vs California bowls in the late 90s early 2000s. Yes im an old fart.

Reid getting alot of love from the TV guys today. Their said OC Kade Bell was recruiting soFla when several coaches down there told them Reid was the most explosive back in area since Dalvin Cook.

I actually dug up his name on this site after I heard the commentators' remarks partly because I vaguely recalled you mentioning some of the soFla ballers that UM were not interested in at the time.
