Bat Signal

Dude is going to be a 6’6 300+ dancing bear. He is a coaches dream in terms of raw ability.

Richardson is going to UK. Hood is probably next, not confident in beating UGA for him. Agbo, we are probably sitting 2nd at best. Armella will be a battle til he signs and with a good season, he is attainable.

My point is, we need to expand our **** board ...

The poster who does the whole breadcrumbs on silents thing has said that Agbo is one of them.

has a good frame to put on weight, I see zero bad weight on the kid. Fast and fluid and large.

Does he, though? Looking at that picture, I see skinny wrists and ankles, and a narrow shoulder girdle. I don't think he has the bone structure to add a lot of good weight.

On the upside, he has unusually long arms, which is good for a tackle. He's probably more of an agile, pass pro type, and always will be. Which can be a good thing.

Also, looks like half his muscle mass is in his neck lol. When this kid goes to the gym, every day is neck day haha. Really though, when you see someone with a thick neck sometimes it means they put on muscle easily. So you never can tell. I can see what they like about this kid, but also he's not a "sure thing." Definitely a projection.

I'd like him to play more football. He's barely played which is why he's a 3 star. If he dominates his senior year then he will be a 4 star.
Him dominating is unlikely just because he needs time but I just want steady growth because this is a 3 year process by like Zion when hr hits he should hit big

Who do you have as his #1? LSU hasn't had much contact since they hired their new OL coach. OU already has 3 guys committed with higher ranked guys on deck.

OU

1.) Higher ranked guys according to who? 247? We don’t know what their board looks like. I promise you they don’t recruit strictly off of 247 and composite rankings.

2.) Legit playoff contending programs stack several, more than 3, blue chip OL yearly. They are still recruiting Agbo and they still want him and would still take him.

Would love for us to sign him, obviously....and we still have a good shot IMO but I’m not buying the “silent” ish for 1 second. Even if he was a silent, he is still a hot commodity and will still take his visits so what good is that exactly?

There are very, very, very, VERY few “sure things” with OL recruits. It’s the 2nd hardest position to project. I learned years and years ago to not scrutinize OL prospects to the n’th degree. Too many variables. @htownkidd hit the nail on the head. Give me the kid who is 6’6 and 300+ with basketball feet. Doesn’t mean he’ll be good, but that’s the “type” you want.

Higher ranked guys that they have either made OVs or will make them. And these are clearly better players. High 4-star and 5-stars

You don't settle for 3 but you also don't fill up on similar prospects if you're chasing elite players.

Kinda how we need corners and didn't settle on Spells or the Henderson twin CB with Graves and Fegans still out there

Yeah I agree. I understand the take. For the record, I was responding to the guy who said he had the frame to put on a lot of weight, which I think is 50/50. I think you take this kid, and keep recruiting OL because that's a position you throw numbers at for exactly the reason you stated

doesn't need to add a lot of weight, he's 275 and "skinny" 25lbs should be cake once he's in a strength and conditioning program, we'll see what happens..but he's quick has good balance and he's 6'7".
