This class so far, per the 247 composite:

- Three 4* commits
- Only 1 commit currently in the Top 100 and only 2 commits in the top 300
- Eleven 3* commits (including a kicker)
- We lost the battle for an elite WR (Drelon Miller) and a very good WR (Braylon Staley) this week, but we’ll likely land a good talent in Barney tomorrow
- QB and CB looking mid as ****

We’ll certainly land several blue-chippers in the coming weeks at certain positions, but any class that’s already this 3* rich before July and has only 1 Top 100 player out of 14 commits deserves all the raised eyebrows it’s getting right now. July needs to be a phenomenal month. Hopefully it is.

Desperately Need that one since with excluding the kicker, we currently have more guys ranked outside the top 1000 (4) as we do inside the top 500 (3)……..

There is 1 of 2 things going on. I already seen the difficulty we had recruitng WRs since last class but we were fine in most other positions. So either they have totally gone ballz deep in the DL 'resource' allocation. Or that 5-7 is more detrimental that we thought. Atleast i thought. When the DL targets start coming off the board, we will know which is which. Btw UF and Texas A&M had the same record.

They wanted this kid so they are going to celebrate, and rightfully so. Let’s give him and Zo the proper time to see if this kid becomes a gamer before discrediting this take because a bunch of corrupted idiots in recruiting websites do not give him a 4 star.

Mario is paid $8million to put the best team together to win a championship. Stars do not matter if your evaluations and development game is strong.

That's the beauty of all this. We gone see. Cuz if the evals are right mixed with the blue chippers look out.
 
Listen, if f you guys think this guy was gonna stick to wvu you’re crazy.
WVU has south Florida dudes so they got in early.
He was gonna get picked by another p5 program eventually.

And as you guys have realized we ain’t sticking to 25. So if a good chunk of this class is quality sofla players with track speed I’m all for it.

Yes, I’m also still waiting on the wales. Just not as upset as some of you.

Recent history shows that stars absolutely matters if you want to consistently compete for championships. There’s not nearly as many hidden gems out there like in the 80’s and 90’s.

I mean..... wouldn't you expect a lowly 3 star "class ambassador" to bring in............. 3 stars????

Man I don't understand y'all. one minute you guys are sooooooo excited to have Mr.15ints-Judd putting in work for us.... and then you're mad at the work he's producing. Naw man. Let him cook!!!!
 
From my honest view point though. This staff gets paid to evaluate and DEVELOP. I don't mind all the 3 stars because it will prove if we can actually develop guys which we haven't been able to do. I dislike it optic-wise but I can get over that lol

It would take a disaster on the field to get past 12. I know we are all somewhere between ansy and ready to jump into the Grand Canyon, but lets take a deep breath

Mario is one of the top 3 or so recruiters in the country. We have the biggest investment ever by the school going on to upgrade every aspect of our program. Huge facility upgrades in the works. Id be shocked if we didnt have a Top 15 NIL budget and Im probably low balling. Plenty of early PT to sell.

But we did make it very easy to sell against us with last year’s performance. We (most likely) arent getting some top marquee QB rating wise. Some of the staffs evals dont seem to line up well this year with the rating systems.

So, it is what it is. Average to great season on the field and I cant see how 12 isnt the absolute floor.

I’m not discrediting this player at all. I think he’s a good take.

I am going to criticize all of the “whale” tweets from this staff when that isn’t what is happening. We literally had Dennis tweeting about 3 stars before the announcement was even made. It was a poor look.

If we are going to tweet a big game, we need to deliver a big game. I thought all this tonight looked amateur.

Somebody further up said we would all be clowning other teams for exactly what we are doing. They are right.
 
The whale stuff nonstop with just Riley as a whale & combine that with them publicly knocking the Gators while getting lapped right now. I’m sure UF will lose 4-5 of those kids once they lose 7 games but we need to land top 247 to not have NC State as our continued future.

Once again every player is going to get the same treatement whether they are a 3 star or 5 star that’s it. You cannot treat them differently it’s disrespectful if you do that.
