Y'all will crown this man for his tweets and look the other way on our commits.

Really is something to behold.

You really need to loosen up. Nobody’s crowding him for his tweets. They’re crowning him for the smokeshow he’s got with him.

As far as recruiting, let’s see where we stand six months from now. The rest is just bull****. “You get them to sign on the line that is dotted.”

I’m not sure what’s happened to you, but I wish you the best.

On an individual basis sure, but at this point its almost at the point where its irrefutable that classes loaded with stars handed out by these sites equals winning big. Sure a ton of nuance goes into it including them giving bumps based on who offered but the proof is in the pudding.
I’m just not really seeing the argument. We took 10 3 stars last year. This year we are at 10. We might add a couple and a couple will get bumps. So proabbly the same. I think it’s well documented who we are now targeting.

So my point is still, I don’t understand the complaints for the 3 stars and the class. If we take 20 3 star kids yea that’s an issue. But it’s not and I trust our staff evaluation on the 3 stars they take.

I really don’t understand the fascination with five stars, and the University of Miami. You guys really haven’t been paying attention. There is absolutely no way 247 is going to allow us to have four or five 5 stars in our class.
It would totally go against the narrative that they’re trying to push.

Expect at the most between a top five or top 10 finish this year or next.
Cracking the top five is not gonna happen and that has nothing to do with recruiting or evaluations. They will never let our players get that many stars.
Every year there’s a few players that commit to us to get dropped and you know **** well that they would never get dropped if they went to the schools that those websites pump up.
Wayne and Bain both should’ve been 5 stars and if they committed to Bama you know that would’ve been the case.

Where do I send the bill, doctor.

My Great Books & Critics teacher in high school used to tell us about the time she was in college and Robert Frost gave a speech at U of I. He excoriated people for ruining his poetry by interpreting it into all kinds of things that it wasn't about.
Some of you guys are like that with Twitter. A staff member or player will tweet something, and you guys are breaking it down like it's James Joyce or TS Eliot with all these layers of meaning. They're just tweets. 90% of them don't mean anything, and the other 10% are obvious and uncomplicated.

The only way any of these sites would allow Miami to have that may 5-star kids is for those kids to not commit publicly until signing day. Once those 5-star kids sign with Bama and UGA hats on the table, it would be too **** hard for them to drop the ratings on that many 5-stars at once.
