Barry Jackson, UM commitments explain keys to Canes' recruit

The Heat never used to sell out their games until they started winning either. Win and they will come, the recruits, the fans, all of them.

This forever and always. People act like heat games werent empty before bron bron and bosh showed up

### Several players cite Golden’s honesty. “Coach Golden is different from all coaches,” Hialeah Champagnat four-star defensive tackle Travonte Valentine said. “He took me in his office, locked the door and said, ‘I’m going to be real with you.’”

Well, we can definitely tell that Golden went to Penn State.

Man that's too funny.

Not playing Thursday night games at home is genius. Now we need to fight for as late as possible kickoffs on Saturdays, it does make a difference.

If we play during the weekday, it's a smart move to keep these games away from home and our embarrassing turnout.

I don't like the line of thinking that went into not playing thursday night games.
It's a loser mentality to have. If we are having a poor season then yes the sun life will be dead and empty. Certainly don't want that to air nationally.
But if we're winning, have an exciting team, in the ACC hunt, then the stadium would be 75%-100% full and rocking.

This. City of miami fans and the area only love to show up to a winning teams game otherwise they'll come up with reasons not to make the drive.,..

Please. Put UGA on the schedule. Now now now!

Facilities? How many NFL players does UGA have working out at it's glorious facilities? GTFOOH.

MF'er better not try to hop on the bandwagon when we have a better record than UGA this season either.

And any other south florida kid who is worried about our "facilities" can go kick rocks. Same **** facilities that have produced countless NFL players aren't good enough for these bratty *** kids...*****assness.

you realize in 01 we didnt sell out every game right. OB was empty for the games against troy st and such. just what it is.

Always though Thurs night games gave us good national exposure. Not sure I agree with the line of thinking. We don't sell out games, it is what it is. But we look nasty as **** when we come runnin outta the smoke.

You are dead wrong I have been attending games since 1963 and unless weplay a big name team we NEVER sellout. We won 58 straight at home with 13 sellouts Miami will never fill the stadium so don't sweat it

Sony can eat a **** already. Just STFU and go to Georgia. Quit with the bull****. If he has any Canes gear take it to goodwill so a real Cane fan can get it for cheap.

So Miami ask for no home Thursday games because of attendance?
Shocking, pretty stupid IMO, better pass on any home games being televised then.

Yea because Saturdays games with Sav ST and Wake will not be highlighted in ESPN....

We have one of if not the best Home Thursday night game records in CFB...and we shy away for attendance reasons...WOW how Miami has changed in a few years..

Phony Michelle sure does sound like a die hard cane fan though talking about attendance and facilities. Good to know he has his priorities in order.

I get what you are saying, but does that work both ways? I mean kids are talking about Barrow sending Scriptures, or Golden being a God fearing man. I know many folks on these board who HATE that kind of talk(not me) but do their reasons for coming because of religion have more validity than Sony who may want the experience of playing in a big time atmosphere?

I mean is the line of demarcation for acceptable reasons on applicable when they come here?

The only games that I've been to that were sold out were the ones against FSU and UF. There were a lot of empty seats in the upper deck when Oklahoma, with Bosworth, came in 1986.
