With @dsddcane deleting his thread and now this news coming out, there is something very odd going on behind the scenes.

Its either:

1) For Manny and Blake to save face they wanted to announce OC before Alonzo was brought on board.

OR

2) To try and sabotage the Alonzo hire they leaked Lashlee news since they know he wanted a role in hiring the OC (now he could have been evolved all along as @LuCane mentioned, but I agree that would be interesting to say the least).

I'd also recommend bringing Fedora over in the same offensive analyst role he had at Texas. It's similar to what Bama did with Sarkesian a few years back. The more quality coaches looking at fixing the offense, the better.

Not behind the scenes and just sitting here with all of you interpreting the events. But, I don't believe in coincidences of this level. What the news breaking so close together means exactly is obviously a guess. Sounds like Game of Thrones at the Hecht.

I wouldn’t read much into that. Auburn would recruit well if you and I were coach. Check their rankings. They are always top 10 range. They pay players so they will never have bad classes
