Barry Jackson 4-5 Notes

That’s it exactly. If you’re just a casual fan, like really casual, he’s the Ultra Lite of reporters. Well, the mainstream reporters pretty much all are with the exception of Matt Porter. He’s the only one that delves in and goes into much detail, as unlikeable and off putting as he is to me, I’ll give him that he really gets in there more than the other newspapers. The rest are like really no taste super Lite beer.

I've read a bit of Porter but don't know much about him. Why is he unlikeable/off putting?

If one were to accept the battle cry of the majority of those on this blog who bellow on a daily, if not hourly basis, that Rosier can’t accurately throw the ball, continually makes bad decisions, is not a leader and is simply a horrible quarterback and person, then why aren’t those who are competing to become next year’s quarterback miles ahead of him in the said competition?

Allow me to take a stab at the answer…Rosier is nowhere near as bad as those who climb over one another to slather more hate on the kid allege.

For those who try to explain away why Rosier is still leading the QB competition at this juncture by pointing to his experience as the only reason. My response to that claim is…ha!! If it is true that experience is the only difference, then based on the caricature painted of Rosier, it means the competition is not much better or even worse.

MTCGA!!

Just not my cup of tea.

Some people like orange, some like green.

I just find him to be a pretentious wannabe hipster and a little too preachy for my tastes. Very predictable.

Hate to bltch, but this is just a rehash of what we already have heard. Other than Hall’s “injured wrist”, which is incorrect of course, the general consensus, which Thomas Brown implied in his interview, is that Rosier is ahead, but not by much. That should be expected since he started every game last year.

A senior starter with a full year of starting experience, should be ahead mentally of two redshirt freshmans, and one true freshmans when it’s 2 1/2 weeks into spring practice, shouldn’t he? Think about it. I mean, it only makes sense.

The freshmen have April, May, June, July, and August to try to catch up and surpass Rosier mentally and physically, if they put in the work and have the mental capacity, the skills, and most importantly the will, to do it.

That’s what competition is.
PREACH!!!!!!

Don't care who starts at QB for us...as long as that position per game produces on average 250 passing yards, 50 rushing yards, and a 3:1 TD to INT ratio...
