Bama vs Vols

Wow:

-Milroe missed a ton of throws. That late miss to a wide
Open Ryan Williams with space to burn was next level bad. Even some basic accuracy he should have been able to hit more throws.
-Deboer is looking bad right now. It’s less about following Saban and more like the guy seems to be coaching scared.
-Missouri and LSU May get them also.
-the iceman even with all his losses has auburn looking better than Bama now

Milroe is trash. I apologize for anything positive I’ve ever said about him. A good QB would never do what he just did for 60 minutes

But but but bamas coach can draw plays

Didn’t think it would be this early but there reign will end. They got a good class cause of the recent history of the program. If any of those are bad evals they are in deep ****

Deboer is a **** good coach, but he's about to learn that you NEVER follow THE MAN. You NEVER take a job where the expectations are out of control. Deboer should have stayed at UDub, maybe held out for a job like OU, where there is a history of multiple guys winning big. Think about it, if you are anywhere near competent, you will be at OU for a long time. Alabama has really only had three high level coaches, Wallace Wade(Who left for Duke), Bear Bryant and Nick Saban. **** near everyone else has been ran out of town, or left before they could be. It's a job where things can go sideways quickly.

I think they'll look at the score of this game and go "Oh wow they beat Bama, thats impressive. Oh Miami with another meh game. I'm putting Tennessee over Miami."

I bet they still think Nico a great QB too
Well again if we win the ACCCG ( which we should) we are four and I still think we get in even if we lost that game cause the SEC is starting to beat up on each other…Bama already has 2 losses.LSU will get at least 1 more ,Georgia will get one I think( hopefully tonight) Ole Miss will get another one so where’s the ones that will get in above us…I just don’t think they will put put more than one or two at the most two loss teams in above us ( unless we get beat by 30 in the ACCCG ) just to put 4-5 SEC teams in over us…jmho

Bama making playoffs with losing record.

Accept that reality.

Deboer isn't a bad coach, he's **** good, if not elite. The issue is that the Bama job is extremely overrated. Unless you are an all time great(Wade, Bryant, Saban), it's a bad place to be. Deboer got blinded by what Saban did, and thought "I'm **** good, I can replicate that". The jury is out, Deboer may have fallen in love with something that has a very low success probability.

I'm just talking about when the next poll rankings comes out and how they rank Tennessee. That's too far ahead for me to worry about

Yeah, bama has a great class now but the issue is: it’s too national/and they’re looking sucky. If I’m them I might consider another qb later in the year. milroe is not a good qb.

When you start to suck, how many of those national studs will stick when the drop off is already apparent? Overly neglecting your home recruiting base (like they are now) will eventually bite you back hard.

They were a Ryan Williams freak play away from having 3 losses and one of the worst choke jobs of all time.

Ok gotcha..in that case I still think we stay at 6 especially with Bama losing..Missouri just barely snuck by ..

Alabama has ALWAYS recruited nationally, especially under Saban. Alabama doesn't have nearly enough "Local" talent to sustain an elite roster. What is hurting Bama is that they are no longer able to treat South Florida, Atlanta and other Southern areas as supplemental home recruiting grounds, because the programs in those areas have stepped up their game. Mario is fighting back, Kirby Smart is holding serve as well.

I got it but this year the state of Alabama has 10 top 100 players in the state according to 247. They are loaded this year.

The problem for Bama is: Auburn has 80% of them and Ohio state has the other 2. That doesn’t even take into account some of the guys we’ve gotten out of there so far in this class either who are really good (Merritt, Upshaw).

There’s plenty of talent in Bama this year to make a much stronger impactful dent and not burn local ties.

Freeze has sucked this year (yet again) but at least he’s working from the inside out and capitalizing more nearby high impact talent and starting to branch out nationally. Both local and national are important (when impactful players are especially nearby).
