I don't get the hate for USC.

Neither do I. I actually like watching them when they're good. Thats one team I wish we could do a home and home with because we are so similar.

I don't Tad. I think that would be one of those "neutral, I don't care who wins type of game." The only way I'd watch it is if the only other game that is on is Alabama/LSU. Haha

I'd rather watch a UTEP vs Fresno State game.

I agree with some of the above posters USC and Miami are very similar. I don't hate USC if I had to list the teams I hate....in no particular order it would be

Ohio State - 2002 enough said
Florida - self explanatory
Florida State - self explanatory
Alabama - Just honestly am so sick of them
Louisville- After watching last year I just cant help but put them on this list

Gotcha. If you're in the market for UTEP type ball though I might suggest you check out UT-SA. I hear they have this young up and coming corch....

I personally have no issue with USC either (then again I've never lived west of the Mississippi and might not be privy to the potential annoyances of their fanbase) as I too have always seen them as a west coast version of us both athletically and academically. I've even had to change my position on PAC-42 football as a whole from dismissing them as irrelevant to actually occasionally (begrudingly) championing them as part of arguing against the $EC. Aside from O$U, I don't really hate too many non-$EC programs/ACC rivals/annoyances. I'm counting Notre Lame as part of the ACC now too.

I hear you man. I picked UTEP just as a nobody team I'd rather watch than the two previously mentioned. I haven't been a fan of USC for a long time. Not true reason other than the fact that I grew up in the west/southwest and a lot of USC bandwagon fans. Same with Notre Lame. I also can't stand OU, or O$U as you pointed out. But those two teams in the PAC-192, I cannot stand. Just my opinion.
