Something the defense has to get better at is defending the run. Should not let Wisconsin or LSU run it down our throats at will. Defense should get better overall when Bubba, Hill, Nnoruka, and the incoming freshman get here.

This is why i like manny being the headcoach if it wasnt coach richt. Coach diaz is hungry and ready to dominate the way he knows we are suppose too. One of my favorite moments when coach diaz got here was i think the first game, you could tell it brought em back to the old days of him going to games but than he realized he was actually a coach now too at the 15sec mark didnt take long:

I think that’s due to the scheme, which allows LB to basically pick random gaps to blitz, without a pre snap read. I’m not a Xs & Os Guru, at all, I got that from an article I read about mannys D when he was hired. Basically it leaves holes for a back to get thru, but also allows D to get into the backfield quickly.

His quotes are more like Head Cheerleader than Co-DC. Football wise, he is probably weakest coach (would even put Patke above), but seems to be better at recruiting maybe? Keeping fingers crossed on him as well.

Been a part of football since suspension helmets: I agree, ****** name, but it also goes by:

Bag Drill; Board Drill; One-on-Ones; Mano y Mano; Time to seperate the boys form the men; Put up or shut-up; Let's settle a score; Time to get noticed.

I got a starting poisiton in small college by jumping behind a Junior All-American LB (nicknamed Lil' Crunch) during Oklahomas that the returning OL guys were avoiding like the plauge. When I saw nobody getting in line behind him, it occured to me he was supposed to beat me, an incoming freshman, but if I got him once, the coaches would **** sure notice me - I jumped in. By day two, after losing a couple and a draw, I finally did. Coaches went nuts, I ended up starting all four years. Before the 2nd day Crunch asks me why I kept getting behind him in line to go against him. I explained, he laughed, slapped me in the helmet and said that was the attitude he wanted with the guys on the field with him - **** maybe he let me win that one, but it worked.

This is dumb, since he has been here he has seen his position be the most consistent at going to the next level. Redwine is an example of good coaching.
