The poster, claiming to be Dan Sileo Jr, started giving very detailed info about Tyson Campbell and Surtain. At first, people called bs. He was persistent and, as we all know, people want to believe what they want to believe. Disbelief turned into semi-skepticism turned into maybe he is legit. But about a week in, the poster claiming to be DSJ kept giving details and was persistent. He would claim not to know certain things, which added to his credibility. He was good. The thread he was active on hit hundreds of pages. I think he had Campbell coming and Surtain 50/50. His bs made sense and at least 70% of the board was buying in (although they will deny it). When Campbell committed to UGA and Surtain to Bama, he straight up disappeared.

He had us all. It was like believing in Santa Clause when you got older. Nothing about the story makes sense. But you want to believe so bad you just do. Every single recruiting site had these kids going to other schools, but this **** had us all believing. Even the people that attacked him and called him a troll the first couple days got sucked in because he was so **** good.

It was seriously the greatest troll of my time following recruiting. If anyone was around then and say they weren’t fooled they are lying. It was master class

Lucky you! I got banned during the entire Manny firing, ensuing Mario hiring, etc for saying Did **** that coming. The only time worth celebrating over a lazy pun, just bc a little B complained.
