Why hasn't Golden his 3 years not found someone to replace AJ Highsmith?

lol his first year he had one month to recruit.

Year two he brought in Bush and Jenkins. Bush's injury pretty much derailed his season.

Year three he brought in Carter, who was a freshman.

Shannon's last recruiting year. 2011 Miami #42 in recruiting that year. Also 2010. All of the Juniors and Seniors. That is ****ing why plus the looming sanctions and the easy negative recruiting.

Even with getting negative recruited we get better players than Duke and VT can dream of. So we missed a couple 5 stars. We still get better players than VT and Duke.

I'm not sure why you're even bringing up VT. They've been beating our *** for over a decade. They've been doing that since Butch was here.

No **** and spot on. Also look at all the players that where kicked off the team or could not get in. VT almost beat the best team of all time in 2001 and we beat them in 2000 with Mike Vick. VT has good coaches.

I'm bringing up VT because people keep harping on the fact that we can't win the Coastal because we don't have talent even though we get better players than VT and Duke does but lose to them because of coaching. You give Bud Foster our defense and I bet money we're top 30 in total D at least.

Go back and remove everyone who is no longer at the school and redo the rankings. This tells you jack ****....does it break down by offense and defense and who never made it to school? Shannon last 2 classes weee the the ducking worst of all time on defense

Lol c'mon man, you sound irrational. First of all, according to their sites, only Jalen Ramsey is a starter (Jackson isn't even in the three deep apparently). Second of all, Ramsey and Lawson were 5* stars that had the whole nation on them. Those aren't the type of players were capable of getting, especially around that time when the turmoil surrounding the program was at an all time high.

They've beaten our *** under 4 different head coaches. You already know simply having better players than them means nothing in that game. Losing to them isn't a Golden problem. It has been a Miami problem for the last 15-17 years.

Got killed in Shannon's last year. We got some play makers in 2012 in Golden's first year with Sanctions looming. 2014 is looking good.

Some of you are talking about talent but golden did pass up talent last year.

They didn't even offer joey bosa fro sta and he is playing good as a frosh for ohio st. He is a good pass rusher and could have been a de in this D.

Moore and bain wanted to be canes but they past on them. Moore is starting and playing good for usce. Bain a big athletic DT who they could have gave a rs a developed him.

Eddie jackson a cb who went to bama had size and a good athlete. They waited to late to get on him.

That is FOUR 4 stars on defense that was at positions of need at DT, DE, LB, DB. Last year class would have looked a whole lot better.
