Attendance for the SSU game

It was exactly what you would expect it to be. Close to 40K, honestly it was an odd environment, hard to really get into the game knowing they were going to steamroll them, but my group of 12 went and we stayed till the last seconds ticked off. It's always fun to watch the Canes win!

To be fair, I don't think all those UF fans that bought season tickets were going to make the trip down for the Savannah State game.

Student section was non existent. Shame!

Someone's unwillingness to waste their time and money to watch garbage football does not make the jive turkeys. If i wanted to pay for garbage football I'd go to lfl games. The real shame is that UM along with a lot of college football programs asked their audience this weekend to pay for 3rd rate entertainment. Instead of asking fans to "show appreciation" by donating their time and money, how about UM and the rest of college football show some business savvy by putting on a show that people want to pay to see.

I know this much about Miami, that every sports organization in this town that puts a bad product on the field fails to draw attendance. That is an undisputed fact about the sports business market of this city. Good business people recognize the market they are in and adjust their business strategy accordingly. Putting on Savannah St vs UM in this town is bad business.

I know this much about Miami, that every sports organization in this town that puts a bad product on the field fails to draw attendance.
