And UM should send everyone who showed up a form to give their tax man for the donation. Spending time and money on that game was definitely a charity. I love UM and college football, but the games this weekend were a ripoff. Some will call themselves true fans for showing up to that abomination, but in truth only the marks and the charitable were there. College football is a business, I expect more for my money and most definitely for my time.
It was exactly what you would expect it to be. Close to 40K, honestly it was an odd environment, hard to really get into the game knowing they were going to steamroll them, but my group of 12 went and we stayed till the last seconds ticked off. It's always fun to watch the Canes win!
//insert snide "superfan" remarks here.

Agreed, however try breathing in it.....
I left at halftime (just couldn't take the murder anymore) and there was a lot of people who were still tailgating in the lots who I assume never went inside.

Fivekunts actually values his time and money and is not willing to pay for a barrel of cow manure in order to line the pockets of those who run a billion dollar entertainment industry. Put on a better show, get better attendance. That's how the entertainment industry works. I love the kids as much as the next guy but when they are not being used as virtual slave labor, they are being used to pull on the hearts strings of the marks and the charitable in order to boost attendance.
