Wow that is horrendous

The 7 on 7 world has really done a number on SoFla football players huh

No way this kid should ever play defense here

Put him on offense or maybe corner.

He can't play safety. All he wants to do is play single high. He waits for the ball carrier to come with him and at that point the guy is over 10 yards up field.

Anybody remember Eddie Jackson coming out of Boyd Anderson? Looks eerily similar.. smooth stride, innate ability to find the ball, position flexibility.

Go back and look at that Alabama class and Jackson was one of the lowest ranked guys and played instantly. Came in and started at corner then moved to safety while also doing some punt return.

Bring him in and let him compete. The secondary can use all the help it can get.

I'd rather a local elite athlete fail here than go elsewhere. If he can't compete after two years, then cut him loose. But we can't afford to not throw numbers at the secondary position if we are hoping to elevate that room.

****, at worst he replaces Ray Ray on PR and CJ Jr. on KO.

I really hope this guy learns to tackle. He's a truly outstanding athlete. Might be offense-only if he doesn’t show more physicality:

For a guy like Mario that prays to the Lord of Physicality every morning, I'm stunned he signed off on a DB that doesn't like tackling.

You don't drop a kid with his coverage ability due to tackling concerns in HS. Maybe he never becomes a good tackler, but that coverage ability is SORELY needed in our secondary. I don't think he is necessarily even viewed by the staff as a safety at this point.

You have to take an athlete like that in your own backyard. If you can coach him up and get him to at least an average tackler your got something there. Potentially a really good something.

More than likely, he never turns the corner on physicality and tackling and remains unplayable. In that case, you process out. But you have to at least try.
