Pat Haden on hiring Steve Sarkisian: ``I could be absolutely wrong. We'll find out.'' #USC

Real confidence builder :ibisroflmao:

On Coach O:

"I hope he goes somewhere and makes me look like an idiot."

Little too late for that, Pat.

Lmao he knows he'll either hit a home run or strike out swinging like a little leaguer going up against randy Johnson

Pat Hayden is one of the most intelligent people in sports. Highly accomplished in life. He's right. Who ever really knows? I admire that he has the guts to just say it as it is.

Who else has Pat Haden hired? Im not sure how long he's been the AD. Did he hire Kiffin?

It's just kind of weird he'd publicly say that. Especially with USC fans less than thrilled with the hire.

This is the guy that stopped the USC bus at the airport and ordered Kiffin out like Cops cornering a fugitive.

Refreshing comments. Nothing wrong with telling the truth.

Why are UM fans so sure that Sark will be a failure, yet they love Corch Al?

He's right but those are comments you keep to yourself.

Especially if Coach O ends up in his conference and is beating a Sark-led USC that is performing below standards. Nothing worse than validating both quote by being proven wrong and an idiot in the singularly most direct way possible.

Same USC fans who went berserk when Pete Carroll was hired. Sometimes, fans need to STFU and realize that they're fans, and not the smartest sports person in the room.

F this guy. Didn't he cry like a little beotch when we recieved our sanctions. Ole " I don't care if I win as long as others suffer" type of douchebag.

I'm pretty sure he will do better at the flagship program of the west. Than he did at Washington. Yet i don't feel he will have USC at the level they were in the mid 2000's. I expected USC to steal one of the top coaches in the country.

Garrett hired Kiffin, not Haden.

That was one of the problems at USC, none of the coaches were Haden's guys.
Orgeron probably never had a chance, which is why he was so ****ed when Haden just up and hired one of his close friends to coach the team.

I never liked Kiffin, but he, like Golden, inherited a nightmare situation. He takes his dream job then gets a 2 year bowl ban and loses 30 scholly's.
In the third year when the scholly's reductions are doing the worst damage, leaving USC with barely a 2 deep and special teams of scholly's players, he gets canned.
Not saying he didn't deserve it as Kiffin seemed to have lost the team, but Haden was probably just waiting until the opportunity arose to fire him and bring in his guy.
