Brini is stiff, slow, and soft. He runs an 11.4 100. I know DJ Johnson is a freak, but he runs a 10.9 100. A DE should never be faster than a CB that we recruit. Never been a fan.

As for Collier, I don't know much, haven't seen much. If he can play then I'm down with getting him but the ceiling for CJ is off the charts. The floor is pretty low too, though.

Pete do we really want Brini,I remember you saying it wasn't a miss when he picked Georgia because he was like Mayes.

We have to have someone playing CB. After losing Byrd and signing 1 guy last year Rumph still couldn't land the guy from Miami Columbus or the guy from Miami Southridge with our top 5 defense and a 4-0 start, losing them to a flailing UFag team lead by Horsetooth. Thank goodness Bandy grew up a Cane.

I was giving you a comparison. 11.4 is slow. He has length to make up for some of it but I'd still expect a sub 11 from a CB recruit.

I've been wrong before, if he flips great, if not great. Maybe he makes a jump in a college S&C program. Still concerned of his toughness and the image he gives himself in interviews with recruiting sites. Seems like a puss.
