i just called out that teams like he played last night - hawaii - are essentially high school competition

put YOUR eyeballs in and watch cam ward play

Naw man.... like okay maybe you're kinda right(they did play Oregon) but regardless. The numbers he's putting up are ******* INSANE. Idc what the competition looks like.

But yes Cam can make it close because everyone loves QBs

listen you guys are taking part of my post and running with it

he's played Georgia southern, Utah State, and Hawaii as well

if you just are arguing to argue then great, but if cam ward leads us to an undefeated regular season and an ACC title -then what an rb in the mountain west did against a schedule full of 75% cupcakes will make it a close race

....... I can't disagree with that. I'm just looking at the numbers NOW and how it can potentially look at the end of the season lol

This wasn’t a comment on the announcers. That’s my point, statistically they did do the best job of limiting his ypc and not giving up multiple massive runs of any team this season. And that’s still his stat line.

Cam may play a top 10 Clemson team. That would help greatly. If he keeps up the stats and plays a bit cleaner he has a shot.

But same time I watched the Oregon game (hoping they would pull it off)

He was the best player on the field without question

Still Cam has proven the same thing and he’s a QB so yeah
 
It takes all of 5 minutes of tape to safely conclude the dude is special. The comp criticism is just stupid, as the NFL draft will demonstrate.

The competition wasn’t brought up to diminish his play or talent

His competition will absolutely matter end of year as cam ward has a bigger stage and bigger games ahead (ACC title game)

Tearing through G5 is great but I just PERSONALLY don’t see how cam doesn’t win it if he limits turnovers and we win out plus ACC title

Jeanty probably is the best player in college football, but that alone doesn’t win you a heisman

2 crippled quarterbacks and a couple of crippled running backs rushed for 270+ on the defense today, Jeanty would put 350 on them all by himself.

went back and found this to try and prove a weird point to **** on our QB and hype up jeanty ( who has actually fallen in the heisman race)

he had 350 yards today, if you think he was the reason we lost then you're a dumbass

I didn't bump this thread. I know Ward had a decent day. OL didn't help. I meant take my eyeballs out after watching a whole team disaster

Stats aren't everything. Love Ward, he's an amazing talent. But he is a large part of our loss. He gave up so many opportunities to keep a drive going because he ignored easy 1st downs to try to go big. He needs to mature past his over confident insistence on playing hero ball, and on 3rd or 4th down the ONLY goal is get the **** 1st down.
