Looks a little odd with two different surfaces, but it should play better (all that matters)New OF wall, bullpens, turf behind home, and new playing surface.
More unhappy about how difficult it looks like it’ll be to see what’s going on in our new bullpenThoughts on knocking down the remaining tree in LF to make room for the new bullpen?
Yep that's a bummer. Overall hard to complain about most of this when improvements are made but certainly a little less fan-friendly.More unhappy about how difficult it looks like it’ll be to see what’s going on in our new bullpen
Better not touch that tree.Thoughts on knocking down the remaining tree in LF to make room for the new bullpen?
The tree is gone I thinkBetter not touch that tree.
It’s gone. That tree was a great respite from the sun and the area right beside it was used for kids parties. The tree is gone I think
Semi-related note: They’ve really hiked new season ticket prices to $175? Doesn’t feel like crowd size last year supports that kind of jump, but maybe they can/need to get away with it given the permanently lower capacity without the RF bleachers.
Suppose there may also be a bet that you’ll have more single game tickets at an even higher rate if the team gets off to a good startDan was adamant that we don't need more capacity (based on attendance). Therefore, the only way to get more revenue is with higher prices.
Sucks. But...what are the real choices?
Taking a swing by before basketball, the home bullpen actually looks like it should be fine in person, so we can strike that complaint off my list.Yep that's a bummer. Overall hard to complain about most of this when improvements are made but certainly a little less fan-friendly.
