Did anyone see this? Based off his time it looks like he didn't run a really good race. I bet he does better in the 110m in outdoor season.

Think his best this season is 7.68....so not a great race for him. Btw, the freshman who finished second at 7.57 is Jamaican so Artie's American Junior record still stands.

So much for all that talk about him going to the Olympics and leaving the football team.

No 60m hurdles in the Olympics....let's see how he does outdoors in the 110. That's where he really excels anyway. His junior record in that event would have had him qualifying for the Olympic finals 2 years ago.

I don't really give a flying **** what this kid does in track. I just want our football team to be good again.

#2 and #7 on that list are Jamaican's he dont have a chance... we Jamaican's have that department (track & field) on lock...

He got out of the blocks fine but clipped the first hurdle real hard and then pretty much clipped every one after that as well. Just ran a bad race. It happens. Guy who won his heat ran a prefect race, had **** near perfect form and definitely had the best start of the group. 60m is pretty unforgiving whether there are hurdles or not. All in all, not bad for a guy who didn't start training until 2 months ago. Hopefully he doesn't miss much spring ball, he has a lot of potential, just needs to focus on technique and footwork.

I asked this in the last thread but never got an answer. Is Artie better at the 110 or 60?

Right at the top it states it is the PRELIMS. Very rarely does anyone put PR numbers in the prelims.

Wait for the finals and then freak out about his time.
