This is the kind of pull that Shannon and Coker could never pull off. They would have both given up months ago. Pulls like this are what separates good from great recruiters.

I'm not a Golden guy in the sense that he can do no wrong. But, you hit the nail on the head here. This was a really big indicator for this staff. And, yes, the kid is in our backyard. That's the ******* point. We've consistently lost these over the past decade.

Ridiculous statement. That's like saying zgolden gave up months ago on getting quality DT's, a supposed need according to this board.
