Hopefully this is the year the program takes the next step with program changing victories and performances. Time for Miami to take its rightful place and return to the top of cfb!
 
I think the team is headed in the right direction. I don't really expect to win this game though. I would be content if our Canes showed up for this game. We haven't played well in a big game in a long time. I don't count OSU last year as a big game either.
 
I'm going to have to rip the why not us for all my canes tweets and instagrams for this season 1 more # to go with the others

For me the difference has been that the team is coached to win rather than not to lose. Last year we seemed to just find ways to win (I know we dropped a few we shouldn't have) as compared to the R. Shannon years we seemed to find ways to lose. I felt we were in every game, sans the two cluster****s, and I always felt we COULD win. In the past, I always felt we WOULD Lose. This team is much more fun to watch. Florida is the biggest game of Golden's career at Miami. If we find a way to win that game, I promise firmly place it the face of every douche bag Gayturd fan I know. I'm so sick of the SEC

One game at a time, Friday I just want to see us come away healthy and get valuable playing time for reserves. My whole family lives in Gainesville and all root for the wrong team so it means a helluva lot to me. K9 knows how much I hate the gators I was voted #1 gator hater on another forum more than once.

I really think our special teams are a big key and don't get a lot of mention. Up until last year I worried about every kickoff as we allowed returners to look like AA vs us. Matt Bosher saved more TD's than any kicker I have ever seen. O'Donnell can be a monster if he kicks into endzone on kickoffs and has great hang time on punts. I want to see the late 2001 type of kick coverage again where returners are nervous waiting for the ball.
