What are you talking about? It's quite obvious to everyone with two grey cells and a synapse that Ice has an issue with AG. It's not 'tin foil hat' stuff at all. The lunatics would be the ones claiming Ice actually doesn't have an issue just because AG has tried to smooth things over. Or the ones thinking that because people state the obvious on this (and every other) board, that they're somehow undermining the 'health of the program'.

1) That meeting had nothing to do with Ice Harris. He wasn't there and we clearly stepped over him to get the kid and his family

2) It's not about the program, it's about the disrespectful **** that Ice pulled. It's Golden's job to mend the fences because of the reasons you provided. I on the other hand can have some pride and dignity and rip that ******* for acting in the manner that he did. It was classless and he STILL hasn't retracted his statements, even though he was proven to be ill informed.

Bottom line, if you do not know that of which you speak, Shut the **** up until you do. Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought of a fool, then open it up and remove all doubt.

This is everything that's wrong with our fan base. You literally think your "rights" to mouth off on the Internet are more important than what our coaches are trying to accomplish. What would be nice would be if some of our fans would shut the **** up instead of getting in the WAY of what Al Golden is trying to accomplish. Good point. I don't know that much about the schools down there--haven't lived there for centuries--but BTW seems to produce a good number of top prospects. We don't want to burn our bridges there, and we don't want to **** off the other kids, like MT and the Thomas kid coming out next year. Not wise.

Regardless of its previous history as an old HS and then middle school, BTW is new on the scene as a HS, and started out 2A in 1999 iirc. Its basically becoming what it is as we speak, a bigger and bigger program. Miami without OT isn't Miami. Lots of past Canes from other schools would be BTW kids today. Do a little research.

1) You're absolutely right. Miami doesn't need OT kids. Miami needs hungry, disciplined, and explosive athletes. It just so happens, that many of the hungry Hurrcane players in the past have been from Overtown and if they happen to be from Overtown, so be it. If they are in Nigeria, that's fine as well. Tidewater Area in Virginia, I'll take them too. If they are entitled babies from Liberty City, like Marcus Forston who would rather not work hard, then I prefer that we look in a different direction. Contrary to your belief, there are guys from the Overtown area that haven't been/aren't being/will never be recruited by the University of Miami. You sound like Uncle Luke

2) I am standing in the way of NOTHING. What have I said that is off base? How have I gone against the staff? I'm talking about Ice Harris and the staff has usurped his authority and gone around him to speak to the kids and their families. How is what I've said putting a road block between the University of Miami and progress?

3) What does Ice Harris have to do with Booker T? Judging by Kirkland retweeting the fact that his coach flew off the handle before he even had a shred of evidence, I would say that there are more than likely others who aren't too thrilled with Ice Harris and if they are thrilled with Ice Harris, I don't want them at Miami in the first place. I'm not saying F the area. I'm saying F Ice Harris. It's people like YOU that inflate these dudes ego's to the point that they think they ARE Overtown and Luke Campbell IS Liberty City. Nah brah, Overtown is bigger than Ice Harris and Liberty City is bigger than Luther Campbell. Luke has already found that out by getting stiff armed when we recruited a kid who was on the team he was coaching this year.
