Jermaine Grace and Standish going to have a bidding war for #5

I'm guessing they will both have it, play different sides of the ball, (i.e. McCord & Morris).

If we end up landing #6, I would think him and Lockhart would both be 6.

This guy might not have said anything extremely flashy or mind-blowing in this interview, but you can tell right away he's a good dude and that he's going to be an impact player at Miami. How many times do you ever hear a recruit say that he just wants to sit back and learn from another guy playing the same position as him IN HIS SAME CLASS? That's almost unheard of. While a lot of kids (cough*KeithBryant*cough) are out there saying they're the best player in the country, the best player that ever lived, blah blah blah, Standish says, Hey, it's cool, I'm happy to redshirt and learn from the guys who are older, more experienced and possibly more talented than me, and then use that knowledge to make myself a better player and a better Miami Hurricane. That kind of humility and willingness to learn is pretty rare in college football (although Sunny Odogwu's interview from today shows that's it's not altogether non-existent). I'm so excited to have a guy like Standish on the team who's humble, eager to learn and also a pretty big talent form a physical standpoint.

Plus, this dude has a pretty sweet Louisiana black-guy accent that's gonna sound awesome in interviews for the next few years.

You gotta listen to that part though. You can tell how enthusiastic he is about him. Go to 10:36

Keith Bryant is a must for this series as soon as he commits.

He would be the best one no doubt about it and it's not even close. He says the funniest and most ridiculous things even when I talk to him outside of interviews. Best part about it is the way he says it.

I'm gonna go ahead state my question for him:

"How/when did you decide to troll the **** out of everyone?"

Jermaine Grace and Standish going to have a bidding war for #5

I mean, Dobard committed first...

but god **** grace is such a cane and the dude is MEAN. they will simply have to rock paper scissors shoot since i dont want them to kill eachother over it (or have grace kill stan) with a wrestling match lol. Either way, having these two kids fighting over the number is a good problem to have. I'm sure these boys and Al can resolve the issue accordingly, but if we have the issue to begin with it means we got Grace too, so bring it on!

edit: oh yeah true dat they can both totally rock number 5, but hopefully these kids want to rock their own personal number and have some individuality. kinda lame to have another kid on the team rocking the same number as you so you cant turn the number into something special

Good interview. Loved that his best moment from winning the state championship game was throwing up the U after scoring a TD.

Gotta say though, I thought I missheard her him at 1st when he said the Cane player he wanted to meet the most lol. That was random.

Good job, guys.

One of the best things of this site is the perfect balance between professionalism and humor. Some sites are very strict(unless you are part of the inner circle) and others are true cesspool where trolls of rivals teams(and some 'Canes trolls too) run freely ruining several threads.

Here(until now) we are able to have a great website without falling into the trap of politically correct. This **** that is ruining the fun of the world...

Now, bring Keef!!! Commited or not, please!!!
