Move Dillard's big *** to FB

I was thinking the same thing, if we could do it with mo havens...who was actually a stud rb, we could do it for Dillard, just a matter of time

Yep and Hagans is a pretty good fullback so not sure why Dillard would end up a FB here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Collins has still yet to take an OV to Miami and he will probably do so after the season. We got this.

Hagans not exactly a good FB!!! When he is in he serves almost no purpose! Hopefully Dillard turns into that guy that can block, run it, and someone that they can throw to.

Right he serves no purpose this year. Last year Hagans was good. The proof was when he got hurt you could see the dip in our run game.

Right he serves no purpose this year. Last year Hagans was good. The proof was when he got hurt you could see the dip in our run game.

Wasn't Hagens, basically the defacto short yardage back last year or his freshman season?

First, have you seen Dillard in person? He is not a fullback. Fairly tall and not overly built. So, get the idea of Dillard to FB out of your head.

Two, what have you seen from Fisch that would indicate to you that he is interested in running a power run offense? Here's your answer: nothing.

This was my thought as well. We will get the last visit and I am sure we will not stop recruiting him. Might have just decommitted to help his boy with the FSU offer. Maybe he is trolling Jimbo.

First, I don't know if Fisch wants to have a power running game behind a FB or not and neither do you! Obviously they do not use Hagans much because he isn't very good. Maybe if they had a good one they would use him more.

Second, the best 2 FB's Miami has had in recent memory, are Najah Davenport who was 6'1" 247lbs, and Quadtrine Hill who was 6'2" 230lbs. Now, Danny Dillard is 6'2" 225 as a Freshmen in a year when he is redshirting I believe! So you are probably right that wouldn't work!!!

Yeah honestly I think he just got caught up and is now doing the right thing in opening it back up. We see it all the time with USC/Alabama types. They get a shot early to commit to their dream school and jump at the chance. Things change and they have to rethink it. Many times it goes back to the strong bonds they built with the staff so hopefully getting him in here after the season gives us a chance to lock it down.
