Alex Collins picked arkansas because he didn't want to compete with Duke Johnson for carries.

As far as I'm concerned, the strong survive, the weak weed themselves out. That's what Miami was built on.

Gus Edwards would've forced Alex Collins to redshirt then transfer anyway so let it go ppl, Miami ended up better off anyway.

Yeah he said himself he left because he wanted to be the feature back and he wanted to be "the guy.".

Take that factoid and use a little bit of deductive logic. He obviously didn't feel like he was good enough to be "the guy" here, but he did think he could be that in Arkansas.

I'm fine with that. I don't want someone on my team who is scared to compete for playing time or who doesn't have the self confidence to know they are the best.

lol the funny thing is you cant validly explain anything about Alex Collins that would suggest he is a better running back then Gus Edwards.... the truth is he's not.

He did say that. Look I'm not saying Collins wasn't a good athlete, but he knew he wasn't going to beat out Duke as the feature back. It is what it is.

Besides, come on man, if he really just wanteto "get out of state," why the **** would you go to arkansas? If he picked southern cal or something I might buy that.
