Arthur Sitkpwski-first impression

Let the Turds have him.....go back after Milton or Fields or even Casey Thompson fit that matter

Perry can't beat out noodle arm & the int machine. How about we pump the breaks on all QB's before they actually do something AT MIAMI.

Yea Perry can't beat out some veterans after 12 practices.

I'm super terrified (sarcasm for you slow ones)

Sitkowski isn't ****in with Perry in overall arm strength or throwing on the run but he can run an effective RPO.

How can he run an "effective" Run Pass Option if he can't pass worth a s.hlt?

If a defense loads the box taking away the run opinion and he still can't get the ball to the wrs, how is that being effective?

The box was loaded but they still ran their play into multiple stacked fronts and still got a push. Sometimes 2-3 times in a row.

Getting push isn't always going to happen especially against elite college defenses stacking the box.

I want that Jarren Williams guy who is a Kentucky commit. I liked what I saw in the Opening.

He looked like who I thought he was--a one read and run guy who can't calmly process information during the heat of a real football game. You graveyard whistlers can excuse away his horrible numbers in New Jersey, but he looks a lot like that same guy.

There are things you can coach and things you can't. Just because a dude is big and has a strong arm doesn't mean you can coach him into a good marquee P5 QB. So much of being a good QB at this level is the ability to handle pressure and process information. Same reason I cautioned against expecting a true freshmans QB to come in here and start this year.

You guys get too enamored with watching guys work out at these camps. There's almost no parallel between that stuff and playing great QB at the high P5 level.

Look at a guy like Baker Mayfield as Exhibit A. No one wanted him before he walked on at Texas Tech, and he had to sell himself to Poops at OU. Yet he's a super QB because he processes info quickly and has that innate sense in the pocket of when to move. You chant teach that stuff.

Rick has been spotty, especially his last few years at UGA, evaluating QBs and WRs. He's had some huge misses. He was cool on Deshaun Watson yet he loved Bryce Ramsey. Pickowski looks like a Miss to me. Maybe he'll get a lot better. We'll see.

Dont come up in here making total sense based on evidence and available information. I agree completely. Sitkowski worries me . Maybe he will be all hes been made out to be but something tells me theres something missing in his game.

The way Perry is described on this board makes me think he's the best qb we've ever had lmao, dude is good but clearly not enough yet to beat out Evan or Malik. Let sit play out his senior season so you have an actual better understanding of him and not just a one game sample.

To me one of the aspects of the college game I enjoy the most is watching talented prospects such as Perry develop. Perry could be a future AA but the guy just got here and is still trying to digest the entire offense while he adjusts to the speed of the college game. I get a kick out of guys on here who knock Perry because he hasn't been able to overtake a couple of veterans and claim the starting QB job at UM as a true freshman. Relax and enjoy the season. Perry's time will come.

He was "ok" not great. Anyone who thought he is a polished product is wrong. He went to IMG to get exposure and training playing with and against D1 talent. Hopefully he develops if he doesn't u still need backup QBs and Scout team QBs.

But criticizing recruits HS games, saying our commits suck before they ever even sign. That's some Gator-level stuff.

I am just asking but didn't his last school run like a triple-option offense ...this may be his first year in a system that allows him to throw the ball and learn to sit in the pocket. I would watch his progress over the season just to see how it goes...

Fields is most likely going to uga..

Yep Its UGA or FSU for him. Don't understand why some of you guys keep mentioning Fields.

Yup... But for me the issue is why we didn't go after fields at all. He's from Georgia too.

No one knew about fields before last highschool season was over. Richt was already in Miami at the time. The highschool qbs in 2018 from ga to recruit was Trevor lawrence, Emory jones etc

True but teams like teams like UGA, UF, Auburn and FSU started to offer and also got visits from him causing Fields to second guess his commitment to Penn St...Those teams didn't know who was either but at least tried to recruit him...

That was this spring though, richt had targeted sitkowski since last year. In the end I think fields stay home and go to Georgia

I don't want to be "that" guy, but I think Richt knows quarterbacks. The guy has recruited, signed, and developed some pretty good ones.

But again, that doesn't make him infallible. As has been pointed out before on this board, at the end of his run at UGa he had a lot of misses.

Its plain as day that for all his physical tools and tangibles, he's a guy that is a developmental prospect, who still really has to learn the art of playing QB.

Wait, but he has offers, that means he's good. Right? Right? Offers is all that really matters. We know this because that is the reason Shirreffs is not worthy of being here. So, Sits has offers, so he is good.

Seriously, though, he's a high school kid playing in his first jamboree with his new team, with a center that can't snap the ball. Personally, I'd take him at QB over the FSU commit at center. He has ability, but needs to be coached up and learn the system. He very well could sit a couple years behind Perry, and I'd be absolutely fine with that. By the time he redshirts and Perry leaves, Sitkowski will be 20 years old. He won't be the same player he is now.

I was not impressed at all, but when your trying to figure out how a football is going to roll at you each play...it might disrupt your timing a bit.

The worst part? "Cain is able" and "Ocho Sisco"...probably countless hours of rehearsing it.
