Moving forward, he'll be considering two schools he truly loves.

"Right now, I'm probably locked in with Miami still but I wouldn't say FSU doesn't have a chance because I really do love FSU," he said. "It's just a really good school and I have seen many people come here and I know many people that are here. They say it's a good school to be at and that their program is amazing and the coaches love you to death. And coach Odell is one of the best coaches around -- maybe the best d-line coach in the nation. He's just a great person. Coach Norvell, I love him so much. He shows that he cares about your personality."

It sounds like an official visit to FSU is on the table for later in the process.

"I would love to go to FSU for an official visit to be honest," Jones said.

It doesn't look like any other schools are heavily involved in Jones' recruitment besides the aforementioned Sunshine State programs.

"I'm locked in with FSU and Miami right now," he said. "Go Noles."

If he really said all that it makes you wonder WHY he committed....... I don't even remember that they were recruiting him that hard before...
 
Do you guys really think that FSU hasn’t been recruiting him? Are you really gonna believe the FSU sites saying that he wasn’t gonna qualify?
You guys are basically acting like this guy just walked on to FSU campus today for the first time and he’s regretting committing to Miami.

Doesn’t this guy play like one hour away from Tallahassee? And if I’m not mistaken, it’s not like they have like 40 or 50 high schools within one hour radius of that campus where they couldn’t evaluate him.

There is a difference between big boy recruiting ala Franklin, Breland, Scott, etc., and your only blue chip DT saying “Go Noles” two weeks after committing.

That’s not big boy recruiting. That’s disrespectful.

we can agree to disagree ... you'd have a point if it was daylen russell ... but jones is legit, don't be surprise when more sec schools come calling ... he's playing TE in his tape for christ sake
