Yup, they keep setting up brown for those tough middle of the field catches that he keeps dropping… he doesn’t have that dog in him like X, Horton or arroyo.

The crazy part is on that throw, if I remember correctly, he had Arroyo in the left flat all by himself. Might have scored.

He could’ve had 2 more TD’s easily. Cam just didn’t get him the rock
 
Definitely needs to be higher up the progression sequence. But with X, Horton and George also balling, Cam has numerous options. I'm as frustrated as everyone else with Brown. Of all the guys getting looks, he's the one I'd move down the list. But I'll bet the kid is smoking people in practice; otherwise, Cam wouldn't target him so much.

I dont know much about Wake but playing at syrcuse is gonna be another roller coaster because there is no standard for the defense, when I hear guidry say he was only asked can he stop counter he made it seem like hey im just here and my job is done, dont ask for anymore from me if we give up 30+.. The drop off on the defense is soo bad. No unit is dependable or has any juice. Dline, LB, DBs ALL STRUGGLING.

I agree but the offense has carried the team all year. You cant expect them to be perfect every game. You see how you have standards for the offense, your reply lets it be known.. There are NONE FOR THE DEFENSE. We cant even line up and everyone is confused at a shift/motion. We give up the edge and cant evn set it since VT. But everyone can look at that and turn to offense and say unacceptable.

Its hard to play defense in cfb now, I get it but what we are seeing now seems to be regressing beyond repair.

This is the only real issue with Cam. He does not like to take the check down/flats most of the time. Can complain a ton about but a lot of times he tries to force the down the field instead of taking the 8 yard gain.

I agree on the defense but 23 points wouldn't cut it even last year. It needs to get better we have to figure it out but there was a lot that went wrong offensively. Normally when everything goes wrong for us offensively it means we only score 14 points in the past and sometimes we were still in those games I get it. Frustrating all around I just think of a few bread and butter things that have been working for us happened on offense we add 14 points and it's a somewhat easy win even with what the defense gave up.

I have been saying this for 6 weeks but was told its not worth discussing because Cam spreads the ball around and guys will take turns eating which is understandable. On the other Hand, Arroyo is easily the most gifted player on offense and plays need to be schemed up for him, end of discussion. OC isn't doing his job getting the ball to his best player.
