I love Cam and unlike a lot of people here I’m not going to **** all over him because we lost, and hindsight is always 20/20, but even in the moment I was very confused that we weren’t feeding Arroyo the ball when he looked uncoverable early. Probably should have had 8-10 targets.

He was WIIIIIDE open for another TD. I dont know why we dont feed him more or run more of those bubble concepts that seem to work, listened to Brent Key presser and he talked about taking away restrepo or trying to and for some reason early it seemed like we were trying to feed Brown who is not up to task unfortunately.

Horton should get majority of snaps with Restrepo and George. Brown cant even get a slot fade.. man wtf..
 
And honestly I know offense is what most people talk about but this game is what I meant by bar being set soo low for defense about holding teams to 30 points should be a W. That is disgusting expectations and forces the offense to have to play perfect every game, they had their issues yesterday but the defense cant set an edge since VT game.. WHAT. THE. ****.

I dont know much about Wake but playing at syrcuse is gonna be another roller coaster because there is no standard for the defense, when I hear guidry say he was only asked can he stop counter he made it seem like hey im just here and my job is done, dont ask for anymore from me if we give up 30+.. The drop off on the defense is soo bad. No unit is dependable or has any juice. Dline, LB, DBs ALL STRUGGLING.

This. This. This. He was the mismatch for the game. He was always open. Instead cam kept trying to feed a needy Sam Brown. Take what the D gives you and move the ball. Sam Browns body language disgusts me. He’s not happy with being WR4, but I think JoJo should take his snaps.

He's also open a ton when he's one of the designed security blankets for Cam. Both Arroyo and one of the running backs are the check down. Can easily get 5-6 yards every time before contact. Martinez and Arroyo are great runners in the open field as well.

Being at the game I saw Cam locking in on one target more than I have all season. He wasn't seeing the field. He wasn't going through his progressions. I think he had Arroyo on 2 TD's that he just didn't look his direction. Cam would look to one side of the field and stay there. Worse game he has played for us not finding the open guys. And he had the time to scan the entire field. He's still the man for us though.

I think santucci and GT did a great job disguising coverage and when cam did catch them tipping their hand with fake cadence they checked out of it most times.. they had 2 weeks to prepare and they had a good gameplan.. held us to lowest total and we were terrible on 3rd down..
