Touch? No, but the staff definitely misread the room and missed on numerous prospects that were on top of our board/high priority. We knew a good season would help tremendously and we are out to good start and it is resonating with recruits.

LT Overton is one of the last top DL to reclass & he reclassfied from '23 to '22 when he signed to A&M. Was the 3rd ranked prospect in '23 at 6-4, 265. Ended up as 14th ranked prospect in the '22 composite.

Blount is currently the 5th ranked prospect for the '25 class. Between reclassifying and a Cane bump down, i imagine a top 60-70 prospect?

I am all in on Mario's recruiting style. He misses on whales but that doesn't mean he takes JAGS. He finds ways to bring in the necessary level of talent. Grabbing the DT from Bama and getting Blount to potentially reclassify are huge moves.

No coach is the country works harder at building their roster. We will NEVER have a talent issue at Miami under Mario.
