Why not? It is Arkansas State youre talking about right? Correct me if I'm totally off base but isn't this a super random matchup? I don't really know the answer here so I'm kinda posing it for the board but does it help us in recruiting or what? Just not sure why we'd schedule this.

It's not officially announced. A-State's coach announced it this morning on a local radio station here in little rock. ASU has been trying to get a high profile opponent scheduled for a home and home for a couple years but none of the $ec schools will do it. We just scheduled one with Mizzou for this season and they are coming to Jonesboro in 2015.

I'll be there considering I'm a student at ASU. I think this will take the cake for closest game Miami will ever play to me. Wasn't alive when they played the pigs to the northwest.

Will do. I was working for the ASU football staff this past semester and never heard anything about this. There were rumors flying around that it would be Ole Miss, Miss State or Auburn but I never thought in a million years that Miami would be the one to schedule them.
