I have no problem with a kid wanting to go to an HBCU, but if he didn't get an NIL deal like Hunter, then I think it's pretty short-sighted and you may see him in the portal next year.

I get it but I just see people already trying play him, who were signing a diff tune not even 24 hrs ago.

you watch that meac game a couple weeks ago? no ones watching that weak stuff. kid will be on tv once an year, be skinny because they have no nutrition and s&c, and play in front of 20k people a week. I just hope deon dont wind up at FSU.

I have a no problem with going to a HBCU school and taking a different path but choosing a school and campus you never visited is just dumb. Hunter at least visited the school.

Anyone reacting butthurt to this and using it as fuel to down HBCUs is pathetic. We are and will be good at WR especially next cycle. Coleman’s decision didn’t bother me one bit. Rather him at Jackson State than anywhere else and some of us still don’t understand the importance of finishing second in this new transfer portal climate of college football. Coleman could easily circle back in the near future.

Mario is somewhere smiling at this. He isn’t worried or hurt one iota.

right like the kid who went to vandy will at least get an elite education on play on espn like every week even though they will get massacred
 
Y’all just gonna act like we didn’t get a commit from a top 75 player at a position of need and focus on missing on a player that wasn’t on our radar a month ago, would have been more of a luxury and has a skill set you can find all over Miami? Couldn’t be me.
