Seems everyone thinks Emory sucks now and that we need to go back to the portal again... I think if we believe we can pull a Cam Ward in the portal every year that's laughable and exactly the kind of thinking Microwave Mike up north has. We need to be able to sell the guys coming up in the system to recruits or we are no different than FSU and the high school kids will lose trust.

Not exactly. Mario is the anti Norvell. From this point on we’ll always be a high floor team because of how relentless he is recruiting. Emory doesn’t suck but the cold hard truth is he’s not a selling point. He doesn’t have the pedigree of a Nico or a raiola where guys know that name and are trying to follow that. I know some recruits who didn’t even know his name man. It matters

It would have to. It’s proof of concept. You knew what cam was the day he stepped in the door. We have people who think Emory won us the Clemson game when in reality that was our defense. People just need to see him play. I think he can play

I’m at a point now where if you not rocking with us..F you. Tired of recruits always moving the **** goal posts but only when it comes to UM. Before it was, “Welllll..I need to see them win. I need to see growth and how they look on the field and if they are really putting a good product on the field.”…..now it’s “ Wellllll..Cam leaves after this year so I need to see who the next QB will be. What if this is just a one year thing because of Cam?”…..just so much hypocrisy so F it. Whoever isn’t sold, good bye and good riddance. Mario is building something big and if you can’t see that..F off.

I admit that I was skeptical of Mario even last year when we had just a bunch a 3 star kids committed. I was wrong. He knows how to land quality in numbers.
