Are Palm Beach players underrated?

Definitely seems to be better than 3-5 years ago…I'm saying there were times in the late teens and early 2020's that if you made a top 25 tri-county list (and I have lol) there would be 0-1 PBC players on there. Last couple years quite a few are on those lists…
The recent uptick, I'd hypothesize, is Miami and Southern Broward families moving to PBC due to higher cost of living.

Its not poor kids chasing rabbits and chickens around sugarcane fields like the way it was.

Bait taken. South Florida’s depth has slipped, enough that I wrote a whole story on the decline.

But the four best players in college football last year were from Miami-Dade County.
Do you have a link? I don’t remember it

Top schools in PB county that are producing Div 1 talent-

West Boca
The Benjamin School
Palm Beach Central
Lake Worth
Palm Beach Gardens
Heritage (Delray)
Dwyer
Santaluces

That's pretty **** strong.
I mean. I live up here in the lake worth area; and follow recruiting pretty close. There has definitely been a drop off in the last ten years but there is still plenty of talent up here. Its mostly the migrant Haitian families that are supplying it.

Ah, maybe I'm just not current.

It aint dead, just down a little.

Unless its really picked up the last few years... I sent this to a buddy of mine in '24 who played in PBC a while back. Might not be dead but its not one of the more impressive counties in the nation thats for sure

Who starting to come up now is St Lucie and the Vero Beach areas farther north. Influx of peeps moving there for cost of living like someone mentioned about georgia earlier.

I agree with it slowing down but not quite dead yet. I could see families moving here from broward and dade for the exact same cost of living issue.

Not sure I agree with that list completely I don't know if this is historical or you are saying this is present. Benjamin without air Kresser will not produce the talent they have in the past and you're missing Cardinal Newman and what Jack is doing no idea why Lake Worth is on there or Dwyer now

It can be both historical and present. And yes i forgot about Newman. Lake Worth has talent not as much as they used too; i was iffy about putting them on there. Same for Dwyer.
