Hmmm I don't think Vernon was. Thought we had to sweat a little bit with Alabama at the end?
Not only was he an EE, but physically he was mature beyond his years. He didn't play his senior season of high school, which makes his early production all the more impressive. I have no idea what AQM is capable of physically, but comparing him to Vernon isn't fair because Olivier was/is a physical freak.
So Olivier Vernon coming in at 6'3" 235lbs was physically mature beyond his years compared to AQM coming in at 6'4" 230lbs who also balled out his senior year? AQM is every bit as good as OV was if not better at this stage in their careers. Let's not forget that OV bounced early because he didn't want to put in the work where as AQM is going to work his *** off.
Yes.
Olivier was an EE and was a beast in August 2009. He was nowhere near 235, more like 255-260. And who the **** said anything about Olivier's work ethic?
Olivier Vernon entered the draft at 6'2" 261lbs. So that tells me #1 he wasn't 6'3" while at Miami and #2 you're full **** on what his weight was as a true freshman. There's no way in **** he played at 255-260lbs as a freshman and now weighs 261 as a Dolphin.
OV accomplished nothing by Miami standards and he lost money by leaving early. I question his work ethic. AQM is every bit the physical freak that OV was/is if not more so. AQM will go in a higher round in the draft. OV was a complete letdown IMO.
