There have been a lot of you asking if the staff would take both of them so I decided to start a thread on it. The answer is yes all the way. They are in no position to pass up elite defensive talent. Getting Muhammad is that much more important as well because it makes redshirting Williams a distinct possibility.

I know Pete has said a few times he's gonna remain cautious about Williams until he actually gets on campus for a visit since he's cancelled like 3 now.

I agree with you, but then how do we make space? Can we take 20 kids in this class? If not, who loses their spot?

Tally is WAAAAYYY closer. You could drive to Tally conceivably. Driving from Baton Rouge to Miami is a day in itself.

I agree with you, but then how do we make space? Can we take 20 kids in this class? If not, who loses their spot?

Something that D$ and I always talk about is that if this staff does something, it's because they had it in their plans. They aren't going to "oversign"because they most likely know who won't be with the team next season and have resolved those issues. I remember we were having these same discussions last year with the big class and there ended up being 82 or 83 players on the roster this season.

I'll just add this... If either Bradley or Hardison wind up here I'd be completely shocked. Gotta try though as both would add instant impact to our DL. We are truly 2 impact players on the defensive line away from top 10 status & playing with the big boys

I agree that could be it, but the FSU game was supposed to be an official. Either way, though, his interest is definitely legitimate and I just want to see him make it down here.

seems to me that Williams is pretty overrated. honestly I haven't seen much tape but he looks tiny and it seems that L$U is letting him go

There's no doubt he's tiny, but he's still an explosive edge rusher. Like I said in the OP, good chance he redshirts.
