I am not suggesting that was contrived. Just the opposite. Al was out there tending to Malcolm because he sincerely cares about his players. And I am not suggesting that Al carries that clip with him. What I am saying is that most recruits probably saw that and have to think "I want to play for a guy like Al who genuinely cares about his players as evidenced by how he cared for Malcolm Lewis in Malcolm's time of need." I think it was a great moment and no other coach could replicate it without it looking contrived.

Besides, Kelly is a complete c*ck-knocker. It won't be too long before he bolts for the big payday in the NFL. He'll leave ND high and dry just like he did Cincy.

I will be scratching my head if an elite guy like this commits to a school without even visiting. If he really is annoucing on Jan 5th...then I like our chances.

General rule is if the kid doesn't visit you have no chance. If ND pulls this kid without a visit, I will be ****ed. LOL

yeah, but is he annoucing at the all star game Jan 5th? If so, then his heart is already set on a school. I just find it hard to believe that he's set on ND without an OV. Something just doesn't seem right.
 
Maybe he just really likes ND

Don't some recruits commit in the spring without visiting?
