AQM getting some ESPN love

AQM, McCord, Thomas

Thomas will play the Chickillo role. Look for Demetrius Jackson to be his understudy.

Trent Harris gets lost a bit because of the Booker T guys but he is a ****ing stud.

Yup. That rush position will be a fierce competition. Guy who works his *** off the most will get the most snaps and get a ton of press (future $) in this defense.

Let's not forget about Naim Mustafaa.

Here is his scouting report: At 6'4/235 Mustafaa is a little undersized to play his 3-4 defensive end position, but when he gets a chance to go 1v1 against an offensive lineman, his man is as good as beaten. He has a great first step and lighting fast hands to help control the encounter. He's a high effort player who gets a lot of pursuit tackles with his quickness. He has a good frame to add strength and weight to better hold up against the run

The DE position is going to rb rock solid for the next few years :cigar:

We going to be crushing some QBs the next few years. Getting big boys up the middle too is going to make these outside guys some kind of fierce. Bad boys, bad boys, what you going do when they come for you.

Every GREAT Canes team ever had a rock solid defensive line from top to bottom

That's not the only thing that's going to be rock solid.

And let's not forget about Mike Smith. Didn't my dude have like 16 hundred sacks last year? That man is an animal in his own right. I know the staff would like to see him at LB for part of the time, but it's going to be hard to keep him from rushing the passer. That dude is a load. Amazing to think that he might be the *fourth* most talented pass rusher we're bringing in this year.

Mike Smith is one of my favorite prospects without a doubt. I'm not sure yet where exactly he is going to play but he will make an impact somewhere. There's some guys that no matter their size, just know how to attack the QB. He is one of them.

Its the best OL class and the best pass rushing class in the country in my humble opinion.

Tom Luginblam is so half ***.... he always says one accurate thing then clouds it w/ a bunch of bs.

Agree on the potential of our DEs. Just need some stud DTs before we're truly back to an elite Defense.

we already have stud DTs on this team right now.

Yes but we need more of them. We have 3 senior DTs this year. We need to establish the type of elite depth at DT that we seem to be acquiring at DE and we will.

I just love it when a plan comes together.

Call me Crazy but I think Valentine has the most potential of the bunch. Once he gets focused (if) that is a bad bad dude
