Worst part about that clip is that Gadbois just takes the physical and verbal abuse like a ****. No competiveness.

Good eye and thank you. I went back and looked at that clip and you're right. Win some and lose some; we just need our guys to win more of these one on one battles than our opponents when it really matters.

Canes camp report #7 video at the 2min 29sec mark. It looks like Gadbois and AQM get matched up again and Gadbois holds his own. I think Gadbois will continue to get better and have a great summer strength and conditioning block. I'm starting to get my hopes up about this team again, time will tell.

You play the game long enough you are likely to be pancaked or mauled in a drill. It happens. I'm more concerned that AQM bit hard on the play action boot on the last play of the clip. I want the kid to be smarter than just blindly running hard down the line without containing.

Good observation. It's easy to see him maul Gadbois in that drill and draw a conclusion far beyond that one instance. The next play you refer to can easily get overlooked - but it matters as to who gets playing time and why.
