April 5 spring scrimmage naples

Last year they were considering Immokalee...because Bishop Verot was a huge success. But our head coach just resigned . So Naples eagles is now the logical choice.

Bishop had the most fan turnout of all the scrimages last year. Naples should be just as full.
And I'm In. Rolling bout 40 deep.

I Town - what happened with the Immokalee coach?

It will be at NHS at 7pm. For those coming to town, get off I-75 at exit 105 (Golden Gate Pkwy). Head west for a few miles and the school will bo on your right at the NW corner of Goodlette-Frank Rd and GGPkwy. I'm going to try to contact NHS about their parking plans. Typically for games people park across the street at Coastland Mall and I expect that will be allowed for this as well. Feel free to post questions in this thread. I'm already geeked.

Rumblings about how some internal things were handled that he did not like. I know for a fact that most of the Immokalee propects did not have the grades to qualify. But then all mysteriously got passing scores to qualify. I'm not sure if that's why he designed but some shady stuff was going on.

As of today no one has accepted the job. If any offer has been made. Mackenzie was the only one with passing grades.


At the begining of last season Golden came to Immokalee and had a meeting. Told all of them with grades like that none of them would be recruited to Miami. And would not be back until grades improved.

Thanks a friend just told me about rock creek campground by Naples airport...$45 a night 4 miles away great amenities??

?? its open to the public...last year in Fort Myers, they warmed up for about 20 min or so..huddled up ran thru the smoke and ran over 100 plays for over 2.5hrs....it was a great venue I hope Naples can offer what Bishop Verot offered up..it was standing room only with tons of HS kids there and coaches.....al just gets it

I wish they would have picked Immokalee, would have been really nice to see them play there. I used to live out there and there are definitely alot of Canes fans there! Will be trying to make the scrimmage this year though, didnt go last year and regretted it after hearing how massive of a crowd they ended up having.
