I think if it leaves your glove and hits the wall it is now a hit.

Answer (1 of 10): Ah…….no !!!! Once the ball hits the wall it can no longer be caught for an out. Now here's a cute twist. If the ball hits the players glove while the glove is against the wall and the fielder catches it before it hits the ground, that is a catch. I saw it happen to Bernie carbo ...

If it hits the wall first before player gloves it, its a hit. But ball hit wall after coming out of glove. Lala caught it before it hit ground. That's an out.
