If it were ranked going in, and it actually is a blowout, then think well jump them. Like 16,17. But that's a big if. But I love the confidence around here lately. I'm not there yet, lol.
 
I'm not big on UGA or USC, but if anyone thinks sorry *** ACC frauds like Clemson or UNC will beat them, you need to get off the Cold Duck!

UGA lost big people on defense. That's why i think Clemson will win.

I honestly think UNC is a better overall team than SCAR. That's just me though....lol

Cam Newton's Auburn team came from unranked to winning a national championship and Notre Dame went from unranked to getting destroyed in a national championship.... so I like the fact that Miami is going to have the opportunity to do the same this year.


BTW lol @ VT, Michigan St, and USCw being ranked higher then Miami.... smh preseason polls.

What are two of the most important elements of a top 10 team?
1.Having a proven veteran at QB. With Morris we have that more than checked.
2. Having an elite level playmaker at one of the skill positions. With Duke we have that more than checked.

So what's really keeping us out of the top 10?
Question mark on defense for one but I think more than that is the decision to self impose the bowl ban keeping us out of the ACC CCG and a Bowl game. Had we gone bowling and Won we'd be top 15 preseason given our QB and elite skill player(s).

SO..here is where you know as voting goes down the list it is just random names being filled in

Miami beats Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech loses 2 of their top RB's, WR's and is in very bad shape
Miami is returning almost every single starter
Miami D can ONLY get better not worse
Miami QB has bee praised by NFL scouts and Logan Thomas has been going downhill

but yet this coming up year in their opinion VT > Miami... I mean there is a joke and then there is this..

UM has won more than 7 games once in the last seven seasons and people wonder a lot of the media is skeptical.

How? UNC has an awful QB, lost their entire offense in Bernard, and lost key defensive players, and have no coach.

They can't beat anybody, IMO.

I don't think Renner is THAT bad. I respect the kid. Plus they still have WR's.
UNC always has a ok defense.

lol Renner is considered one of the best NFL QB prospects in next years draft... they have a good offensive scheme but i dont think UNC has the talent w/o GIO Bernard to beat Miami this year.

I want to see Miami destroy FAU. Blood bath. So bad they quit in the second half. 50+ points. Not because I care about being ranked, that is gone from my blood for now after the last few seasons. But because we deserve it, UM deserves it. To go out and just pillage a team because it's fun to do that. Best way to start a season, and we haven't gotten to witness a thorough destruction of another team in a long while.


We do that, and we'll have the top 25 and the confidence heading into Gainesville.

Clemson just beat LSU & coul beat Georgia specially since the Bullogs lost quite a bit on D
