I would NEVER go to live in Bama for an extended period of time. Overnight is more than I could ever handle.

Yes there is income tax here. And Tuscaloosa blows. The school, and sports income have finally made it it the smallest circle on the map. 4 hours to the beach, and if you're not white or black, you are mexican. Period. Most uneducated people I've ever encountered. Can't wait for one of my transfers to come through to spare my kids of this garbage. Temporary assignment gone bad.

I assume he means they don't differentiate between other races because they are racist, e.g., asians are Mexicans, Cristobal is a Mexican, anyone with brown skin is a Mexican.

Crystalballs base pay was around 175-200,000 at UM. With incentives probably around 250-300. Who would realistically turn down almost triple salary. More incentives and boosters who Also hook coaches up with extra on the side for a job well done.

Mario would have in all likelihood been next in line for his dream job. That extra salary better have been worth throwing away any chance to become the head coach of Miami. If he was leaving to take a head coaching gig or a coordinator gig at a big time school, then i couldnt blame him; but leaving your alma mater for an OL gig? -go DIAF.

The thing with Cristobal, is he realizes that after 2 years at Bama, his resume will put him on the fast track to elite status, simply because of his background and reputation.

Could have had the same effect had he stayed, but it may have taken longer...

Coaching isn't a 30 year stint at the same place anyhow, so lets be realistic!

Like Golden said, why fault a guy trying to prosper his career!
