Any chance to flip Amir rasol from fsu

Homer doesn't look like he's a sub 4.4 guy Soooo........

I'll take speed you can keep the slow guy with good instincts.

Almost nobody runs under 4.4. It is very rare.

Plus, I'll repeat. Straight line speed isn't football speed. If you're a WR that purely runs post patterns, then maybe. But definitely not good to just de really fast when you're a RB.

The thing that makes Cook elite is his ability is not only his blazing speed, but his ability to one cut on a dime and his strength.

Homer is plenty fast and has great vision and wiggle, plus is strong for his size.

Unless there is a gaping hole, he ain't getting through the line. He's a 4-star tag with 2-star instincts. Would like to maybe see him come here as an athlete but I don't mind passing on him... we got enough RBs.

I was a big advocate of Rasul in the preseason and I still am. Cant teach his natural ability. Big and fast. BUT I wont beg for the kid either. If he wants to go to FSU, let him go. I bet he pulls a "Marvin Bracy" and quits football a year or two in and just concentrates on track.

Anybody know what his stats were this year? With his ability if he didnt run for at least 1200 yards something is wrong.

Amir Rasul 132 767 5.8 10

SportsTrac

With the ball in his hands, Kevin Romer is the best player on that team (even he's not UM quality). With that schedule, his yds per cary avg should be a lot higher.

He used to play at Columbus. Here's the YPC avg for the two RBs at Columbus, against a much tougher schedule. Both are underclassmen and have BCS offers.

CJ Henderson 100 932 9.3 12 (junior, who's also good at track)

Darren Davis, Jr. 90 635 7.1 7 (freshman, but 16 y/o)

And, Juwan Hamilton's:

Jawon Hamilton 131 1259 9.6 16
