Any chance Taggert rights the USF bus?

He aint Saban and he will fail at a school like this even if hes a good coach. Some places are just a fail place no matter what.
 
Taggert was a solid hire by USF.. It wasn't a homerun hire (Butch Davis would've been) but solid nonetheless.

USF will be fine... but it will take a while to right the ship. (See AG taking over for RS)

Too much talent in Florida and he's too good a HC for USF to not improve. I'd like to see Edouard go there and succeed.
 
I don't know if Taggart is the right guy for them or not. But, he gets a complete pass this year. He dropped into a **** stew at USF.
 
USF is a mess. Skip Holtz wasn't a bad coach, he won 3-4 CUSA titles at East Carolina before going to USF. USF is not who they think they are. Since the Big Least football is now the AAC (alcoholics anonymous conference) recruiting for USF is going to be harder. FAU and FIU now being members of CUSA have a better chance of improving than USF in their new conference which as of next year will not have an automatic BSC bowl bid. There is no such thing as the Big 4 in Florida when the so-called 4th team in Tampa has never won a NC, and it's best recruits will be 3 stars.

Agreed, I thought Skip was a good coach too.
 
this is USFs super bowl this year..they will be ready and punch back, this to me is where golden has to shine and have the guys ready to destroy them...we fool around and any type of game like this gets dangerous...look for them to USF to fight

I don't see them putting up 17 on this defense. I actually think we might have a top 15 or top 20 caliber defense this year, and usf doesn't have the weapons to put points on us. Only if they score in garbage time like UF.

Skip Holtz left USF's cupboard bare. Taggert needs time.

With that said, Miami is going to destroy them in a couple of weeks.

Couldn't be farther from the truth. These schools #1 were never terribly relevant to begin with, and #2 there is too much talent in SoFla for these schools to not produce anything (T.Y. Hilton, George Selvie, JPP)

Taggert is going to have USF back to being competitive in a couple years..... will they ever be competitve enough to pull an upset over one of the BIG 3 schools again, remains to be seen, and i doubt that.... but he can turn USF into a American Athletic Conference champion lol.
 
Taggart comes from the Harbaugh tree, and so close with the family they joke about him being the third Harbaugh brother. I think he's capable of turning USF around, but it will take a few years. Skip was that bad.
