Any chance Duke scares Collins off

I hope not.

Would love to see what Alex Collins and Duke Johnson look like in the game together.

Morris in the Shotgun.
Dorsett in the slot.
Jean-Louis at the short side.
Lewis at the Wide Side.

That lineup would score 100 against our D.

Talk dirty to me, Lu.

Ok, but in a non-weird way...

We're at Doak Campbell Stadium in 2013. We received the kickoff and Duke ran for 4 yards on 1st down.

Ball on our own 33 yardline. 2nd and 6. Defense in Nickel. Wide side to the bottom of the screen.

Alex Collins sprints in for TE Clive Walford after 1st down.

High paced, no-huddle. Morris sets up in Shotgun for a quick 3-play package (how the Bills used to call 3 plays in a row or many teams call 3 plays before the 2 minute mark in the NFL). Collins to his right. Duke Johnson to his left.

Lewis lines up to the bottom of the screen. Jean-Louis lines up to the top of the screen. With 20+ seconds still on the gameclock, Dorsett comes in motion from the top of the screen. His motion gives Morris an idea of whether the defense is playing zone underneath or man. Dorsett sets in the slot at the bottom of the screen.

Duke Johnson moves in motion to the the slot at the top of the screen, forcing the LB to shift outside and spreading their defense thin. What the defense sees right now is Jean-Louis at the top of the screen, Duke inside the slot. Malcolm Lewis at the bottom of the screen, Dorsett set in the slot. (4 WR with Morris and Collins in the backfield).

Play 1

Counter inside handoff to Collins. Linder pulling through collapsed right side, where Flowers (6' 7" 315 pound Freshman All-American) and Feliciano (320 pound All-Acc Guard) have downblocked their opponent into oblivion. Alex Collins uses his inside running ability to slice through the spread thin defense for 17 yards.

Play 2

1st and 10 from the 50 yard line.

Same formation as above. Defense on its heels. Collins comes across the formation to stay in to chip and block to help out Bunche on the LT side.

Dorsett and Duke are sent on Seam patterns from each slot, carrying LBs and pushing Safeties deeper into their zones. Malcolm Lewis runs a deep in from the bottom of the screen. Jean-Louis runs a shallow cross.

Morris makes a quick decision to hit Jean-Louis on the move and across the formation. Jean-Louis turns up field for a 21 yard gain.

Play 3

1st and 10 from FSU's 29 yard line.

Same formation as above. We're in the no-huddle.

Defense shading to the bottom of the screen to respect Dorsett's and Lewis' speed on the wide side.

Jean-Louis runs a slant. Duke Johnson runs a quick out and up from the slot matched up against a LB.

Morris hits Duke Johnson up the left sideline for a 29 yard score.

7-0 Miami Hurricanes.

Imagine if our defense could get off the field how many points we could put up! I love the scenarios Lu.

And that dude on the bottom row in the middle has no idea whats going on. He's been staring at that same cheerleader for 3 hours.
